Free to download and free to start using. Windows is the only build there is. Mac and Linux are not planned, but they are possible: ask for one below and we will build it if enough people do.

Three steps

Up and running in a minute

Download & install

Run the installer and launch Pathfinder. You are ready in under a minute.

Add your apps & accounts

Pick apps from the dock and sign in. Add a second account and Pathfinder isolates it automatically.

Save a workspace

Arrange your apps and accounts, then save the set as a workspace you can switch back to any time.

Coming from Chrome or Edge

Switching is mostly not switching

Pathfinder runs on Chromium, the same engine as Chrome and Edge, so the web looks and behaves exactly as it does now. What changes is that your accounts stop sharing one profile.

  • Same engine, so every site works the way it already does.
  • Standard browser shortcuts and tabs work the way you expect.
  • The ad and tracker blocker runs from the first launch, with no extension to add.
  • Chrome and Edge stay installed, so you can move over at your own pace.

The one thing you do by hand is sign in. There is no "sign in once and sync everything" step, because that is exactly what lets accounts collide elsewhere. You add each account once, and from then on it keeps its own lane.

Coming from Ferdium, Franz, Ferdi, Rambox or Wavebox instead? Export your setup from there and Pathfinder brings your services and workspaces across in one step. From anything else, including Shift and any Chromium browser, export your bookmarks and Pathfinder builds your dock from the bookmarks bar.

Private by default

Your accounts stay on your machine

There is no Pathfinder account to create and nothing to sign into. Your apps, accounts, and sessions live in a folder on your PC, not in anyone's cloud.

  • No telemetry, no analytics, no tracking from Pathfinder itself.
  • No AI: nothing reads your tabs or learns from your work.
  • An ad and tracker blocker runs on every session out of the box.
