A full browser, arranged for focus
Pathfinder is not a wrapper around a website. It is a real Chromium browser with isolated accounts at its centre, and all the workspace tooling built around them.
Fully isolated accounts
Each account is a real Chromium profile on disk, with its own cookies, local storage, IndexedDB, service workers, and cache. Sign into the same site as many times as you like.
- Zero session bleed between accounts of the same site.
- Add an account and name it after its first page loads.
- Switch, rename, or remove any account with a right-click.
Save a whole environment, switch in one move
A workspace is a full set of apps, accounts, and tabs. Save the setup for one client, then switch to another and everything rearranges around you.
- Keep a separate environment per client or project.
- Switch environments from the palette or the CLI.
- Nothing loads until you open it, so switching stays fast.
Two apps, side by side, one window
Put any two apps or accounts next to each other when you need both at once, without leaving the window or losing your place.
- Pair any two apps, or two accounts of the same app.
- Horizontal or vertical, whichever suits the screen.
Everything, one keystroke away
Open the palette and type. Jump to an app, an account, a saved workspace, or any action in the browser, all from the keyboard.
- Search apps, accounts, workspaces, and recent pages.
- Run any action the browser can do, no mouse needed.
Links stay where they belong
Every account keeps its own tabs, all sharing that login. Links inside an app open in place, so sign-in flows and OAuth pop-ups just work.
- Pull a link out deliberately: new tab, or the system browser.
- A full toolbar: back, forward, reload, and an editable URL bar.
The quieter details that add up
Quiet by default
Attention is the scarce thing. These are the controls that protect it.
Focus mode
Strip away the chrome and settle into a single app with nothing else competing for attention.
Do Not Disturb
Mute notifications across every app when you need a clear stretch of work.
Private notifications
Still see that a message arrived, without its text on screen. Set it globally, or per app.
One unread panel
Every unread count, across every app and account, in a single list. Detected from the general web signals apps already send, not a hand-kept list of services.
Your machine, your network
What leaves the device, and what it costs to run.
A proxy per account
Route any single account through its own HTTP, HTTPS or SOCKS5 proxy, with authentication. The account beside it stays direct.
Ad & tracker blocker
Blocking is built in per session, with the engine cached to disk. No extension to install.
Tab suspension
Sleep idle tabs to reclaim memory, and wake them the instant you return.
Downloads that behave
An in-app tray with live progress, pause and resume, and a download folder you can set per app.
The everyday browser
The parts you would miss immediately if they were not here.
Tab groups
Gather browser tabs into named, colour-coded groups. Collapse them, reorder them, and they ride along inside a saved workspace.
Speed Dial new tab
A fast, self-contained start page for the sites and accounts you reach for most.
Links land logged in
Make Pathfinder your default browser and a link from Outlook, Slack or a PDF opens in the app that owns it, on the right account.
Spellcheck per account
Misspellings are underlined in any field, with corrections on right-click. Words you add stay with that account's profile.
Make it yours
Getting your world into it, and driving it your way.
Any site as an app
Add from a built-in catalogue of apps, or pin any custom URL with its own name and icon.
Import your setup
Coming from Ferdium, Franz or Ferdi? Export your setup and bring your services and workspaces straight across. Switching from Chrome, Wavebox or Rambox? Pathfinder reads a bookmarks export or an exported app list and builds your dock from it.
A terminal CLI
Drive the whole browser from the command line: open apps, save workspaces, script anything.
Undo & redo
Config changes are reversible, so rearranging your dock never feels risky.
Try it with your own accounts
Free to download. Windows, 64-bit. Mac and Linux are built on request.
